Quiver Farms delivered twelve fertilized eggs to our school. We listened to Farmer Kayla as to how to take very good care of them and we followed her instructions to the letter! The first eleven eggs hatched right on schedule but our last egg didn’t hatch until almost two days later. We now know why as “Quadie” was born with four legs!!! He is a very special chick and one of God’s creations. Although he is different from his brothers and sisters, he is loved and special as we are in God’s eyes. It was a wonderful lesson in tolerance and unconditional love for our feathered friends and for each other!!
