February has been a lovely month filled with excitement at LFLC! Miss Leah, the Dental Hygienist from Dr. Mann’s office came to visit to teach us how to take care of our teeth. The children loved pretending to be teeth so Miss Leah could floss and then brush them with the extra BIG toothbrush!
Eric, the farmer, left twelve fertilized eggs at the school. We had ten chicks (finally) emerge from their eggs, much to the delight of all! It was sad saying goodbye to our new friends so soon.
We also were blessed to have the Lizard Man come to our school to show us snakes, turtles and, of course, lizards! It was so much fun learning about the various creatures that God has made. Pictures are on the Parent Portal!
