LFLC was blessed to welcome Angelica Disanza to our school this week. She is Miss Northern Lakes’ Outstanding Teen 2018. Her platform is “Generation Connection” fostering friendships between generations and has written a children’s story entitled, “A Different Kind of Crown.” She regularly visits nursing homes and senior centers to interact with the residents (who have silver hair crowns) and bring a smile to their faces. Angelica played “Jesus Loves Me” on the harp as well as other songs that were beautiful to listen to. The children even had a chance to strum the harp as well. Thank you, Angelica, for a very special morning!!
